Little Island’s book guides are tailor-made learning resources to go with all of our books and are available free of charge from this website. We’ve designed our guides for classroom exploration in groups or for individuals, but these guides should also be very helpful for any adult wishing to explore our titles further with young readers – and indeed some young readers may also find them helpful for private study.
Our guides usually include an overview of themes and issues addressed in the book, questions for comprehension and for composition, suggestions for activities and information on our authors. Guides that go with books for younger children tend to be more like activity sheets and may include literary fun such as crosswords and puzzles as well as suggestions for discussion or ideas for book-related projects.
To access the book guide simply click the Download button beneath your chosen book in the list below.
We really hope you enjoy diving deeper into our books! We also welcome your feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If there is no book guide for a book you’re interested in, that means we just haven’t got around to producing the guide yet. If you would like one that is not yet available, give us a shout and we’ll do our best to create one quickly for you.
